What a VASER Liposuction Can Do for You

VASER Liposuction can be highly effective in getting rid of body fat from areas such as the back, abdomen, buttocks, neck, upper arms, thighs, hips, and knees. As a further benefit of the procedure, the skin contracts and tightens in the areas where the VASER Liposuction was performed. As a result, the skin appears smooth and firm.

Using VASER Liposuction, Dr. Smith can:

  • Eliminate excess fat from specific targeted areas – even from sensitive areas.
  • Get rid of stubborn body fat that is unresponsive to diet and exercise.
  • Work on precise body contouring to give you a chiseled and well-defined body shape.

VASER Liposuction FAQ

In VASER Liposuction, a high-frequency ultrasonic energy is used to target and break down fat cells. Once, you have been given a local anesthetic, Dr. Smith will insert VASER ultrasonic probes into the target areas – the vibration from the probes will emulsify the fat cells which will then be sucked out using a cannula tube.

If you want to get rid of excess body fat that is unresponsive to diet and exercise or if you want to get a more well-defined and sculpted body appearance, then you can be a good candidate for VASER Liposuction. However, it is important to note that the best candidates for a VASER Liposuction surgery are patients who are typically closest to their normal body weight.

NOTE: VASER Liposuction is not carried out on patients suffering from chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease or on anyone with a compromised immune system.
