Body Contouring
Body contouring surgery is performed to improve the shape and appearance of the body. An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) or liposuction may done in order to improve the appearance of the abdominal area and is commonly done after having children. Other patients may have experienced dramatic weight loss either through diet and exercise or through gastric bypass surgery. Often the skin does not contract in these cases and procedures such as tummy tucks, lower body lifts, or thigh and arm lifts may be needed.
